Privacy Policy
This policy explains the limited information handled by the current pre-release website, founding-beta form, contact form, and related project emails.
Effective August 22, 2026
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the public 1nsight marketing site, the founding-beta interest form, the contact form, and related project emails. It does not describe a future 1nsight application or any feature that has not launched. If a beta or product handles additional information, we will provide appropriate notice before that processing begins.
2. Information we handle
Information you submit
When the founding-beta form is enabled and you submit it, we receive:
- your email address;
- your first name, if you choose to provide it;
- your selected interest, such as beta access or crowdfunding updates;
- your consent status and the version of the consent text;
- the submission time; and
- limited campaign attribution, such as referral source and UTM campaign tags.
The current form is not designed to collect health records, journal entries, calendar data, payment information, or other life-tracking content. Please do not submit sensitive or unrelated information through it.
Contact information you submit
When you use the contact form, we receive your email address, optional name, selected topic, message, and submission time. Do not include passwords, health records, financial information, or other sensitive life-tracking content in a contact message.
Technical information
Like most websites, our hosting, security, and delivery providers may automatically process limited technical data needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, request time, requested page, browser or device type, referring page, diagnostic events, and security signals. The founding-beta form payload that 1nsight sends to its form processor does not add an IP address or device fingerprint.
3. Why we use information
We use information to:
- record and measure interest in the founding beta and crowdfunding launch;
- send requested product, beta, and campaign updates;
- respond to accessibility reports, privacy requests, legal notices, and project questions;
- understand which campaigns brought visitors to the site;
- operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the site;
- prevent spam, abuse, fraud, and security incidents; and
- comply with law and protect 1nsight, its users, and others.
Depending on where you live, our legal bases may include your consent, taking steps you request, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the project, and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent for future marketing at any time.
4. Cookies, analytics, and preference signals
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate site traffic, including page views and broad information about pages, referring sites, approximate location, browsers, operating systems, and device categories. Vercel states that this service stores anonymized, aggregated data, does not use cookies, and does not associate analytics records with an individual or IP address.
We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site behavioral analytics. Hosting and security providers may process essential request data or use similar technologies where needed to deliver and protect the site. If we add non-essential cookies or advertising technology, we will update this policy and request consent where required.
Because we do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising, Global Privacy Control and “Do Not Track” signals do not change the site’s behavior. We will revisit this disclosure if our practices change.
5. Who receives information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose information only as reasonably needed to:
- host, secure, and measure the site: Vercel processes site requests, related operational data, and anonymized Web Analytics data;
- receive form submissions: Formspree processes signup and contact form details and makes them available to 1nsight;
- deliver communications: email and communications providers process the information needed to deliver and manage messages;
- follow links you choose: Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or another linked site receives information under its own policy when you visit it;
- comply with law and protect rights: authorities, advisers, or affected parties may receive information where reasonably necessary; or
- complete a business transaction: information may transfer as part of a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale, or similar transaction, subject to applicable law.
Our service providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate.
6. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including managing the interest list, documenting consent, meeting legal obligations, resolving disputes, and protecting the project. Retention may differ across systems. For example, a form provider may retain dashboard submissions for a limited period, while a requested project email may remain in ordinary business email records.
We may delete or anonymize information sooner. When deletion is required or appropriate, we take reasonable steps to remove or de-identify it, subject to backups, legal holds, security records, and other lawful exceptions.
7. Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from marketing messages using the link in an email or by contacting us. Depending on applicable law, you may also have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or information about how your personal information is used, and to object to or withdraw consent for certain processing.
We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Authorized agents may submit requests where local law permits. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. These rights can have legal exceptions, including where information must be retained for security, compliance, or legal claims.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to this pre-release site and the limited information it collects. No website, network, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. You submit information at your own risk and should not use this form for sensitive information.
9. International processing
Your information may be processed in countries whose data-protection laws differ from those where you live. Where required, we and our providers use recognized safeguards for international transfers. You may contact us for more information relevant to your location.
10. Children
This site and interest list are intended for adults, and the founding-beta form requires confirmation that the person is at least 18. The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child submitted information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
11. Changes
We may update this policy as the project, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date identifies the current version. If a change materially affects how we use information already collected, we will provide additional notice or seek consent where required.
12. Contact
For privacy questions or requests, use the 1nsight contact form. Please describe the request and the email address associated with your signup.
